About Online RTI

”Online RTI is for all Indian Citizens (including PIO/OCI Card holders) to help file RTI Applications Online - from the comfort of your homes and offices. Online RTI files RTI Applications on all matters that come under the ambit of the RTI Act 2005. This includes RTI Applications seeking information from the Center as well as from each of the Indian States. All the Applicant does is to visit our Online RTI portal www.onlinerti.com/apply and provide their basic data and details of the information they seek in their RTI Application. Once the application is completed and filed at the above OnlienRTI Portal, our in-house RTI ERP system kicks in and the RTI ERP Process is started. In the RTI ERP process, - the RTI information is scrutinized and further information is sought from the applicant, if necessary; - the government department where the applicant is to be sent and the specific PIO is duly researched and identitifed; - the application is then carefully drafted in the required format, and as per Online RTI best practices, and the duly approved and signed RTI application is promptly sent out to the PIO with the required fees. All effort goes into the final RTI application, to clearly impress upon the PIO the information required, and to ensure that the applicant receives her response from the PIO in a timely manner.
